Isle-sur-la-Sorgue : antiques weekend and riverside coolness

Isle sur la Sorgue, capital of the antiques trade
With 7 villages of antique dealers, 5 « groups of boutiques » and numerous shops and galleries (open all weekends and public holidays), L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is now reknowned as the 2end largest antiques trade in France after Paris.
Every Sunday, bargain hunters and passers-by meet on the banks of the Sorgue, where the bric-a-brac market has operated for 30 years.

Refreshing canoe / kayak floats
The Sorgue river is a true oasis of beauty and cool water in the summertime. Springing forth at the Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, the river is a marvellous playground for fun and sport. Regulations cover the use of the river.
